Free Shop Website

Your Shop Gets a Real Website. You Don't Build It.

Switch it on and your slabs, job photos, services, locations and reviews go live on the web. The pages read your Stone Project data, so they stay current on their own. No page builder, no web guy, no agency retainer.

Most shops have a Facebook page and a website from 2012.

A homeowner searching for a fabricator finds a stock photo of a kitchen, a phone number that changed two years ago, and no idea what stone you actually have in the yard. Building a real site means hiring someone, waiting six weeks, and then paying that same person every time a slab sells. So nobody updates it, and it rots. Stone Project takes the other route: you already track slabs, photos, reviews, hours and addresses in the app — the website simply publishes them.

What you get

Set it up in an afternoon, then leave it alone

Open Settings, My Website. Pick a theme — each one carries a layout, a palette and a font pairing — then drop in your logo and a hero image, and write a headline and a subtitle. Switch off any page you don't want: a shop with one location hides Locations, a shop that doesn't publish stock hides Inventory. Home always stays on. On a wide screen a live preview sits beside the form, so you watch the real site change as you edit.

The pages you keep fill themselves. Inventory reads the pieces flagged public. Gallery pulls the piece photos your team marked visible. Reviews shows the client reviews you approved. Locations reads your facilities, Contact reads your phone, email and business hours. About and Services are the two blocks you write by hand, and they take about ten minutes. Sell a slab tomorrow and the site drops it without you touching anything.

When it looks right, flip Publish and the site is live on your subdomain. To run it on your own name, enter the domain, add the two DNS records we print for you at your registrar, and click Verify — the certificate is issued automatically on the first visit. Two smaller things ride along for free: a chat bubble in the corner of every page, and a Live Visitors board in the app that shows who is on your site right now, split into active, waiting, served and closed, so a browsing homeowner gets an answer while they're still reading.

One thing worth keeping straight: this is your public marketing site, not the client portal. Anyone on the internet can read it. The portal is the private, signed-in area where a specific customer approves their quote, pays their invoice and follows their own job. Different audience, different door — and you can run both.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to build a website?

No. There is no page builder to learn. You flip pages on or off, upload a logo, pick your colors and a ready-made theme, and write two lines of headline. Everything else — slabs, photos, reviews, addresses, hours — comes from records you already keep in Stone Project.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Enter your domain, add the two DNS records we show you (an A record and a TXT record) at your registrar, then click Verify. The SSL certificate is issued automatically on the first visit. If you would rather not deal with DNS, keep the free subdomain that comes with your account.

Does the inventory page update itself?

Yes. The Inventory page reads the slabs and remnants you marked public, with search and filters built from your own stock. Sell a piece or unpublish it and it disappears from the site. The Gallery works the same way with your job photos, and the Reviews page with the reviews you approved.

Is the website included in my plan?

It is part of Stone Project — there is no separate website fee, no host to pay and no agency retainer. Turn it on under Settings, My Website. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

What if I already have a website?

Keep it. Plenty of shops leave their main site alone and use Stone Project for the parts that go stale: point a subdomain like inventory.yourshop.com at your Stone Project site, or drop the quote button and the reviews widget into the site you already have.
